tuna Creamy Oriental Tuna - This convenient, creamy, baked tuna is a microwave recipe that gets its Oriental flare from the chow mein noodles. Made with economical canned tuna, fresh veggies, and cream soup, we eliminated the pasta, but have no fear, its still as hefty and hearty as can be!

Ingredients to make Creamy Oriental Tuna

2 T Butter or margarine
1 c Chopped celery
1/4 c Chopped onion
2 T Chopped green pepper
1 T Butter
7 oz Can tuna
10 1/2 oz can Cream of mushroom soup, condensed
1 c Chow mein noodles
1/8 t Pepper
1/3 c Chow mein noodles

Directions to make Creamy Oriental Tuna

Step 1:

In a deep, 1 1/2-quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole, melt 2 tablespoons butter or margarine in Microwave Oven 30 seconds. Add celery, onion and green pepper to melted butter. Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

Step 2:

Combine remaining ingredients except 1/3 cup chow mein noodles with vegetables Blend well.

Step 3:

Top with 1/3 cup of chow mein noodles. Heat in Miicrowave Oven, uncovered, 10 minutes or until sauce bubbles.
